I had this duo boon with the +3 element chaos boon and the hermes element damage boost. Felt great!

It would be better imho if you grabbed Aphro's mana regen. It's value when playing a close-up build (and weaving between enemies *is* a close up build) is immeasurable - plus it's 50% of origination on top.

I have done 60 runs, got all weapons to around 8-9 heat, max leveled up all charms, got all but a couple achievments, and Achilles still hasn't progressed his quest with me, idk how to trigger it. I've spoken to him and everyone else like 200 times

if thanatos is frozen is that why she does not die so she can return to shadow

Also I’m glad to see you are utilizing the moros torches much better using the omega special for the blasts, that close range strategy makes it bonkers

Heyy, what a fun coincidence this was my last run! I wasn't able to get ApolloxAphrodite duo boon but I did get the HephaestusxApollo, AphroditexApollo, HeraxAphrodite, HeraxHephaestus (kinda useless) AND Hermes legendary. It was such a fun run! And I did also use Moros torches!

The ultimate heartthrob build is a fun one to go for. Get good rarity hephy attack or special, his duo with hestia (doubles blasts), the aphro duo, and then the Apollo aphro duo that doubles them. With a 2 sec attack/special from hephy and that combo you can make 6 hearthrobs with each cooldown.

it is weird that tartarus is easiest in hades but in hades 2 tartarus is the hard area

I don't really get what the new Boons offers in contrast to what Melinoe seems to be by default: a very low heath witch that excels at far away spell spam. The axe deals a ton of damage but forces her to get close to the threat, which isn't always a good idea. The claw and sickle has the same problem, even if it basically turns her into Akali from League of Legends. The non-starting wand feels odd to use while the base magic wand feels right and consistent but seems to be low base damage. Selene's Moon Water has been carrying my dumb butt all the way to Chronos' lair but his -75 HP Scythe attack has been kicking my butt. I know I'll eventually beat him though.

I love how Melinoe unintentionally pisses of Scylla and the Sirens by mentioning their fans, at some point Nemesis says she always passes through without a fight and even questions how the hell Melinoe pissed them off so much.

So I find hangover and doom to be REALLY helpful if you’re looking to cheese a little bit, and Athena’s dash ability to deflect damage when you dodge. And the rest I just improv ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What's with that 3k burst on Chronos?!

I have a blitz build that you should try to optimize. Here's what you need. Weapon: Aspect of thanatos axe. Hammer, that allows you to throw your omega attack forward. Duos: Romantic spark, and thermal dynamics. Throw your omega attack at enemies and continuously sprint into them to keep activating blitz effect. This also keeps applying scorch at the same time. It melted chronos with ease! Lol.

Heeey ! Freezer Burn ! I had basically the same build as you with daggers, except I tried scorch on Pan's specials instead (with not spiral knives, but the one that let you charge Omega strikes faster, which was admittedly even better given the situation). With Freezer burn DOGGARNIT it slapped ! I've never melted the game as fast as with this build ! Scorch is so much better, now. PS : And yeah, Frinos deciding to jump right before Hecate's morph ball is about to hit it took me by surprise at least 3 times (each time with me swearing FRIIINOOOOOS !!!) ! That spunky little bastard cost me a few DD's... Also, Zeus crashing the party after Echo gave you Romantic Spark gave me a good chuckle !

I love bleed but fire is my favourite elemental dmg.

Glad Scorch got a powerup! Super fun in concept but it was really hard to build around.

I loved this game.. I want another update/dlc for this with more achievements. But I can't find information about that online.

Where did the apolo boon come from in this game?

It's funny how EVERYBODY just had to try the torches (especially Eos) right after the patch. Haelian, you, me... And yeah, FINALLY, the Daybreaker actualy tracks enemies instead of floating away to the vast void of space... That was pretty awesome. I tried Hestia on its special (to check how buffed Scorch was, and see how well it'd go with Eos's Daybreaker) and went for a DemHestia new duo (basically Freeze replaces/gets the same effect as the Hestia boon that ended scorch and deals direct damage, except it's 200% instead of 50). And GODDAMN, it slaps ! I've been playing this game for 120 h now, and I've never (molten) cheesed it as fast as with this build (and I was one 20 fear). Highly recommended. I gotta say, though, Hailstorm on the Artic ring looks solid as hell. Wondering how it'd fare with a dagger with Freeze on the attack (or Pan's special). Loving this balance patch so far. Makes you feel actual infused with divine powers, now.

I couldn't help thinking what would happen if the Hephaestus Heroic attack gets pommed up to 7 + . Would that mean every attack? Might be an interesting idea for a run. Great video as usual.

I've been so focused on Shadow of the Erdtree that I hadn't noticed Hades 2 got another patch. Sounds like some nice changes were made, but, for the sake of my muscle memory, it probably going to be a while before I'll check them out 😂

Hi there, I played Hades for the first time about a month ago and have been hooked since (on 15 skulls now). I was wondering if anyone could suggest whether I should play Hades 2 now, or wait for more patches or the game to fully release? Thank you for any help!

Did some trial runs. Hestia rocks right now across the board, especially with a fast weapon (daggers primarily). Her mana regen with daggers is broken op. Close second, Aphroditi's mana regen which just by virtue of you existing in the encounter, makes foes around you weak (hence you are halfway to Origination, they do less damage etc etc). New Born Gain from Hera is a pain and a half, almost run out of mana in Chronos. Poseidon is better overall across the board and Apollo's casts now are far more interesting. The new incantations bring the game on par with Hades 1 where you get some minor bonuses when you gather minor finds (ash/psyche/bones). Plus *you can do bullet time in Chronos fight!* All in all, the patch is excellent and in general you feel far more powerful.

Played around with the new stuff a bit. Zeus definitely feels better to choose now, although I still can't seem to find a use for it on many of the weapons. Not sure how I feel about the change to the one Arcana card, though. Gonna play around some more tomorrow, now that I'm done with Paper Mario.

I got both the +1 dmg and +1 hp when retaliate. When I got a temp defense buff, I would just go to those crawly hand traps and let them hit me. You gain HP basically at that point, and your damage increases, and you can stand there for the duration of the buff. It's almost a patchable exploit but idk, still didn't make my first win.
